You have questions? I have answers.

Here you can find an overview of the most frequently asked questions and the answers.

If I can't help you with a question yet, please ask it directly in the chat on Facebook Messenger or via Google Assistant on Smart Speakers and Smart Devices.

For the two of us to network, you need a Bosch EasyControl controller, including the app.

In addition, you need either a Google Smart Speaker, the Google Assistant app or a Facebook account.

Besides the fantastic, unbelievable benefit of being able to chat with me, the smart controller offers hot features such as individual room control, automatic presence detection saving you up to 25 % on energy costs and much more.

You can communicate with me using text and voice messages in Facebook Messenger.

Google Assistant on Smart Speakers offers you voice support and with the Google Assistant App you get a combination of voice control and text-based answers.

Search for " Tiarda Home " on Facebook, and connect to the blue bot called Tiarda (just add me to your social-network contacts).

As soon as you have clicked "Get Started" I can start a conversation with you.

I will then guide you through the entire connection process with your controller.

If you did not start the connection with your controller at the initial call of .tiarda, you can do this at any time, for example by writing "Start login" or "Connect tiarda with controller".

For a detailed description of the process you can also read the installation guide (PDF 0.6 MB) or watch the video .

Just say, " OK, Google, talk to .tiarda home ".

After you allowed me to access your profile info from Google and having accepted the Terms of Use Google will send a confirmation e-mail to your Gmail account.

Afterwards I will guide you through the entire connection process.

Google Assistant on smart speakers:

Of course. A major advantage of .tiarda is that I'm a multi-channel solution.

That means you can start a conversation with me on Facebook Messenger while you're on the train and then continue the conversation via Google Home when you get home.

If that's the case, it's very likely that you also can't get an energy consumption overview on your Bosch EasyControl or Buderus TC100.2.

There may be various reasons for this.

Your controller is connected via adapter or table stand

  • Your heating doesn't support this function (not in the Bosch EasyControl app either)
  • Your heating settings are blocking this function
  • You just connected with .tiarda? After the initial connection with .tiarda, your energy consumption data is synchronised with .tiarda in the background. Therefore .tiarda can only evaluate the energy consumption the following day.

By the way, the same causes apply to problems with hot-water control.

If that's the case, it's very likely that you also don't have this option on your Bosch EasyControl or Buderus TC100.2.

There may be various reasons for this.

Like many voice assistants, I am equipped with artificial intelligence, which improves as more people use and train me.

I was given as many training sentences as my developers could think of. But there are hundreds of ways to say something or ask questions about a certain function. So I am constantly being trained with sentences users say or write. This data will help me get better and also learn how to identify sentences correctly.

The more users talk and write to me, the faster I'll learn to understand and correctly answer queries.

My range of functions depends on the heating system, the heating settings and the way Bosch EasyControl or Buderus TC100.2 is installed (whether it's connected by table stand or adapter or directly to the heating system).

Ask me for my "menu".

I'll give you a bit of a guided tour of all of the functions I offer.

You can also find an overview with examples here , in the function description.

I display all values in kWh. Your gas meter, however, records the values in m³.

Using a simple conversion formula, you can convert the m³ into kWh without being a mathematical genius. For this you need the state number and the calorific value. These are multiplied by the cubic meters (value in m³ * number of states * calorific value = consumption in kWh).

The calorific value gives you information about the quality of the gas. The higher the calorific value, the more energy is released when a cubic meter of gas is completely burned. The calorific value is between 8.4 and 13.1kWH/m³. If you want to know exactly which calorific value applies to your heating system, you will find the value on the energy provider's bill.

The condition number indicates the ratio between the actual gas volume (operating condition) and the standard condition (0° Celsius and 1 bar pressure). The condition value is also shown on the energy provider's bill.

The energy consumption I displayed in kWh.

So if you want to know how much energy you used in a certain week, month or on a particularly cold day, just ask me.

I also have a useful special function and compare your consumption with the same period before. This way you know immediately how much more or less energy you have used in the selected period compared to the same period before.

If you don't know if your energy consumption is extremely high compared to others or if you are more of a saver, you can ask me that. I will compare your consumption with the average of all users for the requested period.

In the functions you will find examples of how you can ask about your energy consumption.

Yes, that's possible, but it means you can't use any heating control functions.

I'll only be able to answer general questions about heating. Of course, my main benefit is controlling your heating with your voice, but this requires one of the specified controllers.

Yes, you can use Bosch EasyControl with a table stand and your digital room thermostats.

This means that your controller isn't connected to the heating, but you can still use all the convenient functions for smart radiator control.

You can talk to me in German and English.

When you contact me for the first time, the language will be recognized. But you can also change it.

For the Facebook Messenger I use the selected language in your Facebook settings (under Settings > Language and Region > Set Facebook Language).

For Google Home and Google Assistant, you can talk to me in the language that is set in Google Assistant under Settings > Languages.

To end our close connection, you can say "Disconnect from .tiarda".

"I'm breaking up" is another way. I will start the un-pairing process irght away. Just confirm that you are sure, you want to disconnect. That´s it.

I will delete all your personal data after you have disconnected.

Of course you'll break my heart, let's face it.
